The Town of Penetanguishene offers a few different options when it comes to beaches for enjoying the warm weather. Rotary Champlain Wendat Park and Huronia Park all offer sandy beaches, great swimming areas along with other amenities including playgrounds, pavilions, washrooms and much more. Accessible by foot or by car these beaches are a great way to spend a sunny afternoon.

Museum Tots Program

  • Come on a different themed adventure every session with crafts, games, sensory play and more fun!
  • $5 per child (2-4 years of age)

Future Olympians P.A. Day Activities

  • Date: Friday, January 30, 2025
  • Time: 10 AM to 4 PM (drop-in program)
  • Admission by Donation
  • Make your own Olympic torch, complete a sporty scavenger hunt and participate in fun challenges.
  • Must be accompanied by an Adult

  • Date: March 16th to 20th
  • Timeslots: 9:30AM to 12:00PM
  • Join us every morning for themed crafts and a scavenger hunt. Themes include Under the Sea, St. Patrick's Day, Backyard Fun, Radical Robots & Spring Flowers
  • $ 5 per child, adult supervision required

Under the Sea Slime Workshop

  • Date: Tuesday, March 17th
  • Time: 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM
  • Kids will mix, stretch and swirl their own ocean-inspired slime.
  • Facilitated by Tiny Fun Parties

Hat Decorating Workshop

  • Date: Thursday, March 19th
  • Timeslots: 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM
  • Participants will design and decorate their own hats using fabric markers, patches and more. Plus, they'll make a trendy hat chain to complete the look.
  • Facilitated by Tiny Fun Parties
  • $15 per child, (ages 7+)
