Municipal Election Update - October 3, 2018
The 2018 municipal election will take place for Penetanguishene from October 9 to 22 and, while the election of a mayor, deputy mayor, seven councillors and school board trustees won’t change, the way those individuals are selected will.
North Simcoe Treasure Days
Reminder to residents of the upcoming North Simcoe Treasure Day Weekend Saturday October 13th and Sunday October 14th, 2018, residents who wish to participate may place unwanted household items at the curbside starting at 8:00 a.m. on that day.

Notice to Midland Penetanguishene Transit Riders - Extended Hours
The Town of Penetanguishene would like to advise the Midland Penetanguishene Transit bus riders that the hours of operation will be extended on the Municipal Election Day, Thursday October 22, 2018, from 5:30 pm to 8:10 pm (being the last round), to give residents the ability to get to the Help Centre at Townhall.
Potential Canada Post Strike - Election Impact
