Flags lowered at Townhall in honour of firefighter's passing

Penetanguishene Town Hall has lowered its flags to honour the passing of one of the town’s volunteer firefighters.  Captain Ron Marchand passed away after a courageous battle with cancer.

“On behalf of my Council colleagues, staff and the residents of the town, I offer my sincere condolences to Mr. Marchand’s family and friends,” said Mayor Doug Leroux.
"Flags at Town Hall are lowered to half-mast in recognition of his passing and his years of service to the Penetanguishene community".
