Localized Flooding at Town Dock and Rotary Champlain Wendat Park Area

Heavy rains, strong winds and elevated water levels all combined have created localized flooding in Penetanguishene’s waterfront area including Rotary Champlain Wendat Park and the Town Dock.

Portions of the Waterfront Trail and the Town Dock parking lot are currently closed due to exceedingly high water levels and damage in the form of path washouts caused by erosion. Stay clear of the closed trails, and avoid all other waterways.  Additional closures may be required, please continue to check this page for regular updates.
