Notice of Public Information Centre: Peel Street Streetscape

The Town of Penetanguishene is hosting a Public Information Centre to obtain feedback on a new streetscape design for Peel Street (between Robert Street East and Simcoe Street). Streetscape design is the design of a roadway formed by the placement of physical features such as buildings, sidewalks, parking and loading areas, lighting, street furniture, and landscaping.

Date: Thursday, November 20, 2025.

Time: 7:00 p.m.

Location: Council Chambers on the 2nd floor of Town Hall, located at 10 Robert Street West.

Purpose: To obtain your feedback on the draft streetscape design for Peel Street. The draft streetscape design is based on existing conditions, guidance through Town policies, and feedback received at Public Information Centre #1 in April 2025. The upcoming Public Information Centre will include a brief presentation as well as an opportunity to provide feedback and ask questions concerning the draft streetscape design
