Simcoe Boards Pass Education Development Charge By-law
This message is being sent on behalf of both the Simcoe County DSB and the Simcoe Muskoka Catholic DSB.
Please be advised that on October 25, 2018, the Simcoe Muskoka Catholic District School Board and the Simcoe County District School Board passed the attached Education Development Charge By-Laws. The following is a summary of the new Education Development Charge rates effective October 30th, 2018.
Residential Non-Residential
Simcoe County District SB $1,311.00 $0.35
Simcoe Muskoka District SB $448.00 $0.12
Total $1,759.00 $0.47
It is noted that the above rates, as passed by the by-laws are the same rates as the current EDC by-laws. An Education Development Charge information pamphlet and the Notices of By-Law Passage will be forthcoming.
