2018 Dog Tags Renewal Reminder

 REMINDER

2018 Dog Tags are now due  

Dog owners are reminded that 2018 dog licences must be purchased for each dog.  Tags can be obtained at the following locations:

  • Townhall during regular business hours (8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday);
  • Penetanguishene Public Library during regular business hours (10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday to Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturday);
  • By contacting Huronia Animal Control at 549-2289;
  • The Pet Shoppe, 2 Poyntz Street.

$15.00 per licence prior to February 28, 2018

$30.00 per licence from March 1 to December 31, 2018

A Certificate that the dog(s) has been inoculated with an anti-rabies vaccine must be produced before a licence will be issued.

Please note that there is a maximum of two (2) dogs permitted per dwelling unit. 

Any person who contravenes any of these requirements is guilty of an offence and subject to fines provided for in the Provincial Offences Act.
