- Council received a presentation from Carole Lambie, President and CEO of Waypoint Centre for Mental Health Care regarding an update on their COVID- 19 response, strategic plan, and research.
- Council received a presentation regarding the Georgian Shores Boat Tours and Island Princess from Cathy Tait, General Manager of the Southern Georgian Bay Chamber of Commerce.
- Council received a presentation from Bill Kernohan – Chair, Midland Bay Landing Corporation (MBLC) regarding the UNESCO Global Geoparks designation being sought.
- Council received a memo regarding two By-laws for Dupuis Drive for information.
- Council approved the Integrated Accessibility Standard Regulation (IASR) Policy as presented.
- Council approved a change in the design concept regarding the Town Gateway Project and directed staff to proceed with a funding application to the federal Legacy Fund to expand the scope of the project.
- Council approved the submission of an application for funding to the Federation of Canadian Municipalities though the Municipal Asset Management Program in the dollar amount of $43,400.
- Council approved the amended 2021 CAO Performance Evaluation Process.
- Council approved all recommendations in the February 10th, 2021 Committee of the Whole Report as presented.
- Council passed 6 by-laws including:
- 2021-14 Being a By-law to Authorize the Execution of a Consent Agreement regarding the lands municipally known as 1075 Lafontaine Road
- 2021-15 Being a By-law to confirm the ownership and assumption of Dupuis Drive in the Town of Penetanguishene
- 2021-16 Being a By-law to Authorize the Execution of a loan from the HEC Reserve Fund for funding required for the Concrete Wharf Structural Repairs
- 2021-17 Being a By-law to Authorize the Entering into of an Agreement with Creative Outdoors Advertising for Transit Bus Stop Advertising – Five (5) Year term
- 2021-18 Being a By-law to Declare Surplus and Sell 13 Simcoe St, 17 Jury Dr, 224 Church St, 171 Fox St, 111 Church St, 92 Shanahan Rd, 132 Church St
- 2021-19 Being a By-law to acquire a separation strip of land from Georgian Bay Native Women’s Association
- Committee received the Council information package from February 19, 2021 and March 10, 2021 for information.
- Committee received a Memo to Council regarding Phase 3 Harbour Pointe Subdivision and Security Reduction.
- Committee approved the preliminary parking aisle configuration in a follow up report for on-street parking on Church Street.
- Committee approved the recommended action to award Golder Associates Ltd the RFP for the Robert Street West Well Testing project.
- Committee approved the procurement of a Tandem Snowplow as approved by Council in the 2022 Capital Plan to assist in a timely delivery.
- Committee approved the proposed changes to the fare card purchase price and transit fare structure for the Midland Penetanguishene Transit System.
- Committee approved the updated Municipal Alcohol Policy as presented.
- Committee approved the recommended action to proceed with a draft agreement with Georgian Shores Boat Tours for the berthage and operation of the Island Princess.
- Committee received the February 2021 Monthly Municipal Law Enforcement Activity Report for information.
- Committee received a memo regarding the Business Recovery Task Force Meeting #9 and for information.
- Committee received a memo regarding the Business Retention and Expansion Study update for information.
- Committee received a memo regarding the complete application for 123 Robert Street East plan for information.
- Committee approved the recommended action to approve the redline revisions and draft plan subdivision condition changes for the development known as Champlain Shores (formerly Bay Moorings Marina) at 176 and 200 Fox Street.
- Committee approved the recommended action for the Site Plan Exemption 2014-30 for 3 Robert Street West.
- Committee approved the revised Municipal Law enforcement Policy and Procedure Manual.
- Committee received a Service Excellence Strategy update for information.
- Committee received a memo to Council regarding the COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic located at Penetanguishene Memorial Community Centre.
- Committee received a memo to Council regarding the CNCC Policing Costs for information.
- Committee approved the recommended action to purchase the Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus replacement from A.J Stone Company Ltd.
