- Council approved the Town’s 2021 final proposed budget draft as presented.
- Council approved Phase 2 of the Transit Steam Safe Restart Agreement.
- Council approved the Mayor’s appointment of David Claridge to the Trails committee for the remainder of the council term.
- Council approved the Mayor’s appointment of members of the public, Stu Spiers and Andy Myers and members of council, Councillor Vadeboncoeur and Councillor Cummings to the Town Dock Technical Advisory Ad-hoc Committee.
- Council approved all recommendations in the December 9, 2020 Committee of the Whole Report.
- Council approved all recommendations contained within the Special Committee of the Whole Report related to Finance and Corporate Services as presented.
- Council passed 4 by-laws including:
- By-law 2021-01 to authorize an agreement with Huronia Animal Control
- By-law 2021-02 to amend by-law 2013-86 being the Sign By-law regarding regulation of lewd signs.
- By-law 2021-04 to authorise execution of Ontario Transfer payment with MOT.
- By-law 2021-05 to authorize execution of Ontario Transfer payment for the safe restart agreement.
- Council referred by-law 2021-03 to amend traffic and parking by-law 2012-23 back to staff for further discussion.
- Committee received the Council information package from December 18, 2020 and January 13, 2021 for information.
- Committee received the Midland Penetanguishene Transit Ridership minutes from September 22, 2020 for information.
- Committee received DWQMS Management meeting minutes from July 22, 2020 for information.
- Committee approved the recommended action for disposal of the surplus Transit Bus as outlined in the staff report.
- Committee approved the recommended action for an encroachment agreement for the installation of a natural has meter at 107 Main Street.
- Committee received the November 30, 2020 Library Board Minutes for information.
- Committee approved the request to rent Rotary Champlain Wendat Park for the Huronia SwimRun Challenge and Open Water Swim event scheduled for June 27th, 2021.
- Committee received a memo regarding the 2020 year in review for the Planning and Community Development department.
- Committee received a memo regarding the complete application for zoning by-law amendment file no. Z.A 1/2021 – 77 Fox Street.
- Committee received the November 2020 Huronia Animal Comparative Report for information.
- Committee received the December 2020 Monthly Municipal Law Enforcement Activity Report for information.
- Committee received the results from the public meeting regarding the applications for a draft plan of subdivision and zoning by-law amendments for Phase 4 Harbour Pointe Subdivision and recommended approval of the subdivision and presentation of the zoning amendment at their next meeting.
- Committee received an update regarding the Community Safety and Well Being Plan for information.
- Committee received the Community Based Strategic Plan year 1 progress report for information.
- Council received a delegation from Grace Kidd regarding her request for Council to sell 12 and 14 on Dupuis Lane to the Georgian Bay Native Women's Association (GBNWA).
- Council convened in an in-camera (closed session) to discuss a proposed or pending acquisition or disposition of land by the municipality or local board and the municipal land inventory.
