Council Highlights - February 20, 2019

Special Committee of the Whole (items that were discussed to be ratified at the next Council meeting)

* Committee reviewed the 2019 Budget Final Draft #5.

* Committee amended the 2019 Operating Budget to have the funding for the Façade Improvement Program come from the Community Development Fund.

* Committee approved the 2019 Operating Budget as amended and the 2019 & 2020 Capital Budgets.

* Committee approved the contribution of funding to the Penetanguishene Public Library of up to $417,519.

* Committee received a presentation from Pesce and Associates regarding the Pay Equity and Compensation Review.

* Committee approved revisions to the personnel policy.

* Committee moved into in-camera session (closed/confidential) to discuss portions of the Pay Equity and Compensation review.

* Committee approved proceeding with the recommendation of the consultant and staff related to Pay Equity and Compensation.
