Dedicated Transit Bus- Canada Day July 1st, 2019
The Town of Penetanguishene would like to advise the Midland Penetanguishene transit riders, that there will be a dedicated transit bus for the Festivities and Fireworks, being held on Monday, July 1st, 2019.
Throughout these events, the dedicated transit bus will run continuously from Midland to Penetanguishene, during hours of 12:00 pm (noon) to midnight, with the designated drop-offs and pick-ups locations indicated below:
Penetanguishene Event Pick-Up/Drop-Off Location:
Stop 1 - Penetanguishene Centennial Museum
Stop 2 - Penetanguishene Town Dock (Parking Lot)
Stop 3 - Rotary Champlain Wendat Park (Amphitheatre Parking Lot)
Midland Pick-Up/Drop-Off Locations:
Stop 1 - Town Dock (Parking Lot)
Stop 2 - NSSRC (Main Entrance)
Stop 3 - Huronia Mall (Entrance by Giant Tiger)
The map can be viewed by opening the attachment associate with this notification. There will be no cost to ride the Festivities and Fireworks transit bus.
Passengers seeking bus service are not required to be at the bus stops or shelter to get on and off a bus. Midland Penetanguishene Transit allows passengers standing in a safe location to flag down the bus along its route and get on the bus. The main stops in Penetanguishene will be at the Town Dock.
