Flags lowered in honour of Former Midland Mayor and Councillor George MacDonald

The Town of Penetanguishene has lowered the flags at Townhall to half-mast in honour of former Midland Mayor and Councillor George MacDonald who passed away over the weekend. George was a long-time member of Town of Midland Council, having served four terms as Mayor, from 1995-2006, and three terms as a Councillor, from 1989-1994 and 2014-2018. He also served as Warden of Simcoe County in 2003 and 2004.
