Lining of the Sanitary Main on Chatham Street

This notice has been issued by the Public Works Department to inform the residents/businesses on Chatham Street that Aqua Tech Solutions Inc. will commence the lining of the Sanitary Main on Monday August 8, 2022. This process will involve inserting a new liner into the existing Sanitary Main and is expected to take approximately seven (7) to ten (10) business days.

 

While the lining of the Sanitary Main is taking place, there will be a period of time when each sanitary lateral going to each house will be unavailable for use. This timeframe will be approximately two (2) to four (4) hours provided that the liner installation is not met with additional challenges.  Aqua Tech Solutions staff will be available to answer questions while the work is taking place.

 

The liner installation will affect both Phase one (1) and Phase two (2) of the project, which means that properties on Chatham Street from Sheridan Street to Brock Street will be affected.
