Main Street Reconstruction Project Update - October 26, 2018
With each passing week the project is showing headway and is getting closer to the final stages. JB Enterprises Ltd. has completed the following work for the week ending October 26th, 2018:
- Completed sidewalk from south of Edward Street to Thompsons Road;
- Planters excavated and topsoil placed from Beck to Robert;
- Placement of paving stones in Poyntz intersection on-going;
- Boulevard Stones from Jeffery to Edward Street on-going;
- Restoration of Boulevards and Driveways from Jeffery to Thompsons Underway; and,
- Installed Traffic Signals Thompsons Road.
Work expected to be completed in the upcoming week (October 26 to November 1, 2018) includes the following:
- Close Thompsons road intersection and maintain single lane traffic controlled by flag persons on an as needed basis;
- Complete base asphalt at Thompsons Road intersection;
- Complete Surface Asphalt from Water to Thompsons Road;
- Start Line Painting on Finished Asphalt;
- Continue Boulevard Stones from Jeffery Street Heading south;
- Continue Site Furnishings and Veneer;
- Continue Restoration All Areas; and,
- Complete Paving Stones at Poyntz Street Intersection.
