Main Street Reconstruction Updtate - November 16, 2018

The arrival of the winter season within our area this week has certainly made the completion of construction work on the Main Street more challenging. However, the final stages of the project continue to be completed regardless of the weather outside. JB Enterprises Ltd. has completed the following work for the week ending November 16, 2018:

  • Completed the installation of the boulevard paving stones;
  • installation of site furnishings and cap stones on veneer ongoing;
  • Stones for Mid Hill seating area installed, awaiting bench installation.

The following items are scheduled to be completed for the week of November 19, 2018 to November 23, 2018:

  • Modify traffic routes as needed for the Thompsons Road Intersection Line Painting (weather dependent);
  • Start Line Painting in all Areas (weather dependent);
  • Continue with site furnishings and cap stones on veneer;
  • Continue the installation of the mid hill seating area; and
  • Complete all finishing touches in various areas.
