Installation of New Posted Speed Signs on Water Street
This notice has been issued by the Town of Penetanguishene Public Works Department, in accordance with the Implementation of Traffic/Parking By-law Amendments Policy, to inform residents and businesses that the following change to Schedule J of the Traffic/Parking By-law is being proposed by Town staff:

The purpose of the proposed amendment is to provide a posted speed limit on Water Street that reflects the surrounding land use and increased pedestrian activity.
This proposed change to the Traffic/Parking By-law is being recommended for approval in a report being presented to the Committee of the Whole on January 9, 2019.
Should you have any comments on the proposed changes to the Traffic/Parking By-law please forward them to the undersigned by email (bmurray@penetanguishene.ca) by December 21st, 2018 and they will be added to the staff report being presented on January 9, 2019.
