Notice of Decision: Approval of Draft Plan of Subdivision and Passage of Zoning By-Law Amendment: Bay Moorings

NOTICE OF THE APPROVAL OF AN APPLICATION FOR A DRAFT PLAN OF SUBDIVISION

Town of Penetanguishene Council has approved the application for Draft Plan of Subdivision File. The Draft Plan of subdivision includes eleven (11) blocks (Blocks A through K) with three (3) blocks for Single Detached Dwellings having 28 units, one (1) block for Townhouses having 20 units, two (2) blocks for the common elements condominium which includes open spaces, road and parking, two (2) blocks identified as waterlots, one (1) block for the Marina, one (1) block for the apartment building having a maximum of 36 units and one (1) block for a recreational centre (see Draft Plan attached).

Notice to appeal the decision to the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal must be filed no later than 20 days from the date of this Notice as shown above as the last date of appeal.

NOTICE OF THE PASSAGE OF A ZONING BY-LAW AMENDMENT

Town of Penetanguishene Council passed By-law 2020-11 on March 11, 2020 under Section 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990. By-law 2020-11 pertains to the property at 176 and 200 Fox Street in the Town of Penetanguishene. A Location Map has been provided illustrating the lands affected by the amendment.

The Zoning By-law Amendment is to facilitate the redevelopment of a portion of the site as part of a Plan of Subdivision which includes the creation of two (2) new site-specific categories in the Residential Third Density (R3) Zones for the Townhouse and Single Detached Dwellings, a Residential Multiple Density Exception (RM) Zone for the Apartment Building, a Commercial Marine One Exception (CM1) Zone for the Marina, an Open Space Exception (OS) Zone for the Private Recreational Facility, an Open Space (OS) Zone for the private parkland and parking areas.
