Notice of Penetanguishene Arena Closure Due to Expected Weather
The projection of the Environment Canada issued Blizzard Warning indicates that major impacts from the blizzard will be seen this evening into tomorrow.
Understanding the projected impacts and safety concerns for both residents and staff, the Town of Penetanguishene has made the decision to close the Penetanguishene Memorial Community Centre (Arena) at 4:00 PM on December 23, 2022, and December 24th, 2022.
As a result of the closure, the scheduled public skating for December 23, 2022, from 6:00 – 7:00 PM has been canceled.
