Notice-Placement of Garbage/Recycling Containers during Winter Season
This notice is a reminder to residents and business owners of the Town of Penetanguishene, that during the winter season, the main objective of the Snow Clearing and Removal Operations is to clear the snow quickly from the streets. This critical service can be significantly hampered by the placement of garbage and recycling containers within the roadway or along the edge of the road.
In an effort to maintain the safety and efficiency of these operations the Town is requesting that homeowners and businesses place their garbage/recycling containers away from the roads and place inside of the driveways. (see attachment)
The Public Works Department would like to thank residents and business owners in advance for their attention to this important subject.
