Reminder: Notice of 2024 Capital Grant Program For Community Organizations

The Town of Penetanguishene has a Financial Contributions to Community Organizations Policy, where Council sets aside funding annually for capital grant applications.

$25,000 has been allocated for all capital funding requests for eligible community organizations.  The annual deadline is July 31st for funding in the following year.  The policy contains the eligibility criteria in the link below.

‘Capital’ grants are to assist with organizational asset purchases (i.e. equipment, vehicles, building repairs, furnishings or signage).  Applications for operating grants are not eligible under this program.  The submission of an application does not guarantee funding approval.

Council will consider all capital funding requests received by the deadline during the annual budget process in late fall 2023 and successful recipients will be notified when Council approves the 2024 Budget (usually mid-December 2023).
