Servicing Installation for the 40 Thompsons Road Development
The Town of Penetanguishene Public Works Department would like to inform residents and businesses that Maacon Construction will be performing service installations on Thompsons Road between Wright Court and Copeland Street, starting with the week of Monday, May 17th, 2021.
The servicing construction on Thompsons Road is scheduled to be completed over a period of approximately 2 to 3 weeks. During this time, lane restrictions and traffic controls will be in place for the duration of construction.
A full closure and detour around the construction zone will be required to complete the storm sewer crossing installations on Thompsons Road. This work will be completed on a weekend and will require 1 to 2 days to complete. A future notice will be issued for this road closure once the date has been confirmed.
The construction on Thompsons Road will include the installation of storm sewers, sanitary sewer and watermain. The road surface between Wright Court and Copeland Street will be restored with asphalt as part this work.
