Sidewalk Replacement Project: Monday October 27, 2025

The Town of Penetanguishene Public Works Department, in collaboration with DRock Paving, will be undertaking the removal and replacement of concrete sidewalk sections at the following locations:

  • Robert Street West: Approximately 150 metres from 95 to 110 Robert Street West
  • Thompsons Road East: Approximately 100 metres from Jennings Drive to Copeland Street
  • Burke Street: Approximately 50 metres from Levi Simon Street to Chatham Street

Work is scheduled to commence on Monday, October 27, 2025, and is expected to take approximately two weeks, weather permitting.

Residents directly affected by this construction are kindly requested to arrange for alternate parking during the project period, as access to driveways will be limited or unavailable. Temporary parking will be permitted on the boulevard and in nearby municipal parking lots until the project is completed. We ask all residents to exercise caution and avoid equipment and work zones for safety reasons.
