Snow Removal Operations - Critical Areas from Level of Service

The Town of Penetanguishene Roads Division will be starting snow removal operations along Main Street, Saturday,  December 7th, 2019.  These operations will be starting at 12:00 midnight to 7:00 am, which will create vehicle noise which will disturb residents during the night.

We are requesting the co-operation of all motor vehicle owners in keeping vehicles off the roads to prevent the obstructing of the snow removal operations on all roads under the jurisdiction of the Town of Penetanguishene.

Under Traffic Parking By-law Number 2012-23 as amended, Section 32 (1), “No person shall park, stop or stand a vehicle on a highway in such manner as to interfere with the clearing of snow from the highway.”

Your cooperation is appreciated and will ensure that snow clearing operations are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
