Council Highlights provide a brief overview of noteworthy decisions and presentations made at Town of Penetanguishene Council meetings. Detailed agendas and minutes from the meetings are available on our website.

Special Committee of the Whole  

• Committee received verbal presentations from each department regarding the 2023 Budget Draft #2, relating to Capital Projects. 
• Committee approved the 2023 Capital Budget Draft #2 budget documents as presented. After discussions and clarifications regarding the 2023 and 2024 capital budgets, staff were directed to amend the capital budget and bring forward Draft #3 at the December 21, 2022 budget meeting. 
• Committee received a question from Tony Huguenin, regarding the Capital Project for Cul-De-Sac a Burke St, Dufferin St, and Robert St E. Staff were directed to include answers to this question in a future report.
