Special Council Meeting Highlights - April 29, 2020

Special Council

• Council received an update from the Chief Administrative Officer regarding the continuity plan for May 2020 related to COVID-19 municipal impacts.  A media release regarding Town staff proceeding to provide essential services through a 4-day work week can be found here.
  
  
• Council convened in Closed Session (private) to discuss the following items:
  • Main Street Reconstruction – Settlement Meeting Verbal Update
  • Philip H. Jones PCP – Grit Removal System Verbal Update
  • Building Department Legal Claim Verbal Update
  • COVID-19 Organizational Continuity Plan for May 2020 (Discussion)
  • Council passed a motion in open session to approve the draft minutes of settlement and to grant the CAO the authority to sign the minutes of settlement contingent upon there being no material changes for the Main Street reconstruction project.
