Storm Sewer Installation on Fox Street - Temporary Lane Restrictions
Please be advised that the Town of Penetanguishene Public Works Department will begin the installation of a storm sewer on Fox Street beginning Thursday, October 17th, 2019. The location of the construction area will be along the west side of the boulevard Fox Street, between Don Street and Beck Boulevard, as shown on the attached map.
This project is scheduled to be completed in approximately 1 week which may be extended depending on weather conditions. Fox Street during this period may have lane restrictions from Don Street to Beck Boulevard.
During the upcoming period of construction the garbage and recycling collection program will continue to occur uninterrupted during the Fox Street Storm Sewer Installation project.
We do suggest that to aid in the collection process during construction that you have your garbage and recyclables ready for collection at the street by 7:00 AM every Tuesday morning. Your garbage and recyclables will then be collected by the on-site construction staff and deposited at a communal collection point.
We also ask that each resident clearly label all of their collection bins with the appropriate house number to ensure that the Contractor can return each bin after collection to the respective owner.
