78th Annual Winterama: Parade Road Closure and Transit Detour
The Town of Penetanguishene wishes to advise residents and visitors that a road closure will occur on Jeffery Street and Main Street on Saturday, February 14, 2026, beginning at 11:00 a.m.
This temporary closure is required to allow the 78th Annual Rotary Winterama Parade full access to the route. The closure is expected to last approximately 30 minutes, or until all parade floats have safely reached the end of the parade route.
Transit Detour
Please note that a local transit detour will be in effect throughout the day to accommodate parade activities and increased pedestrian traffic. Riders are encouraged to plan ahead and check updated transit information prior to travelling.
Interested in Entering a Float?
Community groups, organizations, and residents are invited to participate in the 78th Annual Winterama Parade. Those wishing to enter a float are asked to complete and submit the parade registration form.
