The Town of Penetanguishene Council passed By-law 2021-24 on May 12, 2021 under Section 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990. By-law 2021-24 pertains to the property at 77 Fox Street in the Town of Penetanguishene. A Location Map has been provided illustrating the lands affected by the amendment.
Town of Penetanguishene Council will hold an Electronic Public Meeting on June 9th, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. to pass a Zoning By-Law amendment to remove a Holding "H" Symbol from the Zoning By-Law as per Section 36 of the Planning Act.

(Penetanguishene) – In mid-February, The Town of Penetanguishene released a statement that an agreement to purchase 51 Dunlop Street – the site of the former Penetanguishene Secondary School had been made.
The Town of Penetanguishene Public Works Department would like to inform residents and businesses that Maacon Construction will be performing service installations on Thompsons Road between Wright Court and Copeland Street, starting with the week of Monday, May 17th, 2021.
The Town is taking steps to create a more age-friendly community, where all residents can be active and engaged members of the community at every stage of life. On Wednesday May 12th, 2021, Committee of the Whole will discuss the recent purchase of 51 Dunlop Street, the former Penetanguishene Secondary School, including the condition of the building and the process for next steps. The use for the property will be discussed at a future meeting.
