This notice has been issued by the Town of Penetanguishene Public Works Department to inform you that the Road Division staff will be continuing Spring Clean-Up operations. The following areas will undergo spring clean-up starting April 9, 2021, weather permitting.
April 8, 2021 – On Wednesday, April 7, the Ontario government, in consultation with the Chief Medical Officer of Health and other health experts, declared a third provincial emergency. These measures are being taken in response to the rapid increase in COVID-19 transmission, the threat on the province's hospital system capacity, and the increasing risks posed to the public by COVID-19 variants.
The Road Division staff will be continuing Spring Clean-Up in the following areas starting April 8, 2021, weather permitting.

These measures are being taken in response to the rapid increase in COVID-19 transmission, the threat on the province's hospital system capacity, and the increasing risks posed to the public by COVID-19 variants.
TORONTO —The Ontario government, in consultation with the Chief Medical Officer of Health and other health experts, is imposing a provincewide emergency brake as a result of an alarming surge in case numbers and COVID-19 hospitalizations across the province. The provincewide emergency brake will be effective Saturday, April 3, 2021, at 12:01 a.m. and the government intends to keep this in place for at least four weeks.

Midhurst/March 25, 2021 – The County of Simcoe is hosting a virtual Public Information Centre (PIC) to support updates to our regional Transportation Master Plan (TMP). Input received from residents will help provide direction for the planning, coordination and implementation of a multi-municipal road and transit network, active transportation amenities (including bike lanes and trail networks), and commuter facilities for the next 30 years and beyond in Simcoe County.
