A significant snowfall event has occurred in Penetanguishene over the last 12 hrs. Due to the amount of snow accumulation that has been received over this period, the Roads Division may experience delays in reaching some areas of the road network as per the Town Road Maintenance Policy.
The Town of Penetanguishene, Town of Midland, Township of Tay, and Township of Tiny are reviewing services provided by each municipality. Service Delivery Reviews are a common exercise for municipalities to gauge their level of service across all business units and see where opportunities for efficiency and effectiveness exist.
Severn Sound Environmental Association and the Town of Penetanguishene are working together to implement the 2021 Tree Seedling Distribution Program, which will provide property owners with reasonable priced, native tree and shrub seedlings for planting in early spring.
The Town of Penetanguishene would like to advise the Midland Penetanguishene transit riders, that Council approved the proposed changes to the Penetanguishene Transit route at their regular council meeting held on November 25, 2020.

This notice has been issued by the Town of Penetanguishene to inform you that Church Street will be closed between Broad Street and Waypoint, on Thursday, November 26, 2020 between the hours of 8:00 am until the completion of the services repair.
