The Town of Penetanguishene would like to announce to residents that the Georgian Bay Snowriders will be grooming the portion of the Trans Canada Trail through Rotary Champlain Wendat Park for multipurpose use throughout the winter months.

Notice of Construction: County Road 93 Phase 2 Winter Shutdown
County Road 93 Phase 2: The County of Simcoe has retained Dufferin Construction Company to complete Phase 2 of the Multi Use Trail. Phase 2 of the Multi Use Trail includes the construction of a concrete trail and sidewalks within the CR 93 right-of-way from Yonge Street to approximately 80 metres north of Lanigan Drive including traffic signal upgrades at each intersection.
Mid-Pen Transit Detour Extended until Spring 2021 - Downtown Midland
Due to the onset of winter weather and the King Street Rejuvenation Project, both the North (Blue) and South (Red) Midland transit route detours, as shown on this map, will be extended until Spring 2021. An exact date for the end of the detour will be communicated later. Depending on a variety of factors, these detours may become permanent or the bus may revert to its original routing down King Street.
Mid-Pen Transit Service Changes: January 1st, 2020
The Town of Penetanguishene would like to advise transit riders that Council approved the proposed changes to the Penetanguishene Route. The modified routes will commence as of January 1, 2021 on a trial basis for the duration of the month.
