The Town of Penetanguishene continues to monitor news and updates concerning COVID-19 in order to ensure we work to keep our community members safe. The Town is working hard to open areas that have been closed and affected by the COVID-19 regulations in keeping with Phase 1 & 2 of the provincial re-opening. Today, Dr. Gardner, Medical Officer of Health and Chief Executive Officer, issued instructions to ensure the mandatory use of non-medical masks or face coverings within most public and enclosed indoor spaces.
The Town of Penetanguishene Public Works Department would like to inform residents/businesses that Superior Road Products will be installing a preventative road maintenance treatment on the roads listed below on July 9th, 2020. This project will take approximately 2 days to complete, weather permitting.

The Town of Penetanguishene Roads Division, in conjunction with D&G Concrete and Morden Construction will be performing the preparation, installation and restoration of a sidewalk on the south side of John Street, starting Monday, June 29, 2020.
The main purpose of the Weed Control Act R.S.O. 1990, is to reduce the impact of noxious weeds on the industries of agriculture and horticulture. Primarily this act applies to agricultural and horticultural lands that generate income or other benefits to agriculture; this excludes lawns, gardens and private areas for personal enjoyment and leisure.
