Notice of Spring Cleanup
Update: April 16, 2024
As you may have noticed, Spring Clean Up has begun. As provided in the previous notice, we will be street sweeping along Robert Street East and Robert Street West Tuesday, April 16, 2024, and will be completed over the next 2 weeks, weather permitting.
At times, due to these roads being heavy traffic areas, intermediate road closure and/or lane restrictions will be required for proper street sweeping. If you have any questions, please contact the Public Works Department at 705-549-7992.

This notice has been issued by the Town of Penetanguishene to inform you that the Road Division staff will be working evenings, starting on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, for Spring cleanup operations.
This project entails sweeping up the bulk of the winter sand to assist with dust control.
Phase 1 of the operations, outlined in red on the attached map will focus on the following streets:
- Robert Street West
- Robert Street East
- Main Street
- Municipal parking lots
- Overhead Bridge Road
- West Street
- Thompsons Road
This project will take approximately 4-7 days. During this time, staff request that residents/businesses please remove all objects and vehicles off the road to prevent any damage.
We are also requesting that all any garbage, recycling, and green bins be placed in the driveways on waste collection day.
