Notice of Temporary Road Closure – Jeffery Street Tree Removal Work

The Town of Penetanguishene would like to inform residents, businesses, and motorists that Jeffery Street, between Main Street and Maria Street, will be temporarily closed on Friday, May 22, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

This temporary closure is necessary to allow Town crews to safely complete the removal and cleanup of a tree located at 8 Jeffery Street.

Local access will be maintained for residents and businesses within the closure area for the duration of the work. Emergency services will also continue to have access at all times; however, minor delays may occur, and motorists are encouraged to plan alternate routes where possible to avoid the affected area.
