TAKE NOTICE that the Town of Penetanguishene has received a complete application for a Zoning By-law Amendment (File No. Z.A. 9/2026) under Section 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. P.13.

Purpose of the Application
The proposed amendment seeks to modify the Town's Comprehensive Zoning By-law 2022-17 by increasing the maximum permitted building height on certain lots within the Champlain Shores Subdivision from 8.0 metres to 10.0 metres.
If approved, the amendment would allow for the future development of single detached and townhouse dwellings with increased building heights, while remaining consistent with the subdivision's approved Architectural Control Guidelines.

Appeal Information
Individuals or public bodies wishing to preserve their right to appeal a decision of Council to the Ontario Land Tribunal must provide oral comments at the Public Meeting or submit written comments before Council passes the by-law.
Failure to provide comments before a decision is made may affect a person's ability to appeal the decision or participate in any subsequent Ontario Land Tribunal hearing.
