Penetanguishene Fire Department Invites Community to A Fire Prevention Open House!
PENETANGUISHENE, ON – The Penetanguishene Fire Department is opening its doors to the community for a fun-filled and educational Fire Hall Open House on Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Penetanguishene Fire Hall, located at 2 Robillard Drive.
Residents of all ages are invited to come out and meet local firefighters, tour fire trucks, learn valuable fire safety tips, and enjoy an afternoon of family-friendly activities. The event is designed to bring the community together while promoting fire prevention awareness and emergency preparedness.
Visitors will have the opportunity to:
- Tour Penetanguishene fire apparatus and equipment
- Meet local firefighters and learn about their role in protecting the community
- Watch firefighter demonstrations
- Visit with Sparky the Fire Dog
- Receive fire safety information and resources
- Enjoy a free community barbecue
The complimentary barbecue is generously sponsored by Penetanguishene Foodland, whose continued support helps make community events like this possible.
