This addendum has been issued by the Town of Penetanguishene Public Works Department to revise and amend the Tender document. All information included within this addendum is to be incorporated within the tender package submitted by each contractor.
The following sections are to be revised within the tender document:

SEALED TENDERS will be received at the Town of Penetanguishene Municipal Office located at 10 Robert Street West, Penetanguishene, Ontario L9M 2G2 until 11:00 A.M. local time on Friday, May 11th, 2018. This time and date shall be the Closing Date of Tenders. Tenders submitted after the Closing Date will not be considered.
The Work to be performed by the successful tenderer will include following street sections which will require site specific asphalt resurfacing within the 2018 summer construction season:
- Resurfacing of Don Street – Fox Street to 210 m East - 210 m
- Resurfacing of Beaumaur Drive – Entire Length – 250 m
- Resurfacing of Lorne Avenue – Payette Drive to Richelieu Street – 280 m
- Resurfacing of Hunter Road – Entire Length – 280 m
Each Tender must be accompanied by a certified cheque in the amount of Twenty Five Thousand Dollars ($25,000.00).
THE LOWEST OR ANY TENDER WILL NOT NECESSARILY BE ACCEPTED.

1.0 DEFINITIONS
CLOSING DATE or CLOSING DATE AND TIME means Friday, May 11th 2018, no later than 11:00:00 A.M. E.S.T., the closing date for submission of Tenders.
2.2 TIME LIMIT for TENDERING
Tenders will be received until 11:00 A.M. local time on Friday, May 11th, 2018 By Mr. Jeff Lees, Chief Administrative Officer at the Town of Penetanguishene Municipal Office located at 10 Robert Street West, P.O. Box 5009, PENETANGUISHENE, and Ontario, L9M 2G2. This time and date shall be deemed to be the Closing Date of Tenders. Tenders not submitted before the Closing Date will not be considered.
The lowest or any tender not necessarily accepted.
Tenders will be opened publicly shortly after closing within the Municipal Office Council Chambers.
