The Town of Penetanguishene has a new after hours emergency phone number

For years now, the Town of Penetanguishene has been using an answering service for roads and water emergencies after business hours.  This line is used so residents can report matters such as fallen trees or water main breaks outside of normal working hours.  The answering service provider recently partnered with Alliance Answer, a respected company based in Kingston, Ontario, that has been serving answering service clients since 1948 to provide the service.

The answering service will remain uninterrupted, with the same level of professionalism and support, however, the phone number has changed. The new phone number to call to report an emergency after Town business hours is 1-888-921-1258.  The Town is working closely with both service providers to ensure a smooth transition.  However, in the meantime, the number will be widely communicated throughout the municipality to ensure it’s easily accessible to all residents.
