Transit Detour - June 20 to July 7, 2023

Mid-Pen Transit Midland Routes will be experiencing a detour due to construction.
When: Tuesday, June 20, 2023 to Wednesday, July 7, 2023
Where: Yonge Street; starting from King Street to Queen Street.
As a result of road closures on Yonge St. for repaving between King St. and Queen St. on Tuesday, June 19 through Friday, July 7, both transit routes in Midland require detours.
During this time, buses travelling south on Midland Ave. in the Route Changeover Area (symbolized by an alternating red and blue line) will turn right at Elizabeth St. and head west until King St. Next, buses will turn left onto King St. and proceed south. At the intersection of King St. and Yonge St., either the regular South (Red) or North (Blue) route will be begin. If the South (Red) route is scheduled, buses will continue straight down King St. If the North (Blue) route is up, buses will turn right onto Yonge St. and head west.
Additionally, South (Red) route buses returning to downtown (travelling north on King St.) will now turn right onto Hannah St. and proceed east. Buses will turn left onto Manly St., continue north and rejoin the regular route at Yonge St.
The main downtown stop will remain at the corner of Midland and Hugel Avenues.
